Surrey Music Hub organise many training sessions throughout the year that help school teachers and music tutors to develop and improve music in the classroom. These range from vocal courses to samba, whole class tuition to supporting young people with SEND. Check the Events for upcoming courses.

Free courses for primary teachers developing practical music at school

These courses are for both specialist and non-specialist Music Teachers. Surrey Arts provides all training and resources for schools to fulfil their First Access commitment as documented in ‘The importance of music; a national plan for music education’ DfE.

Singing training at your school

Surrey Music Hub offers a range of courses and online resources to support classroom teachers with singing. Please see below for a list of the courses we offer.
Options are available for Local School Networks to buy in a workshop and allow all of their member teachers to attend at no charge.
Prices vary depending on the workshop. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements and to arrange for Surrey Music Hub to deliver training in your school.
