Surrey Arts are hosting a free singing workshop for teaching songs and singing games on Tuesday 8th May, 15:30 – 16:45 at Wyke Primary School, School Lane, Normandy, Guildford GU3 2HS. This workshop is an opportunity to experience teaching songs / singing games with a group of children in a relaxed workshop environment. The session begins with an introduction to some singing games followed by a practical demonstration of some of the songs with a group of children to give you a feel of how teaching these songs/games work in practice.

Led by Rebecca Askew, this workshop is FREE to attend for Surrey teachers.

Workshop Leader Rebecca Askew is a freelance performer, singer, composer and vocal coach. Rebecca studied Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and specializes in singing new music in both theatre and concert settings. Rebecca is also a dynamic workshop leader and voice coach with a huge amount of experience of working in a wide range of education and community settings.
