On Sunday 3 July Surrey Arts will be hosting the super band – Superbrass at Dorking Halls with workshops for young musicians and evening performance. Superbrass has some of the best brass and percussion players in the world who have played on some of the most iconic soundtracks including Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and James Bond as well as regularly performing with the finest orchestras in England.

Surrey’s unique orchestra of Unlimited Potential (UP! Orchestra) has been shortlisted for the Best Musical Initiative Award at the 2016 Music Teacher Awards for Excellence!

Surrey Youth Training Choir is a brand new choir for boys and girls aged 9 to 13 years who enjoy singing. Led by experienced vocal coaches, the choir offers a fun introduction to choral music.

Within it's first year Surrey County Council's Orchestra of Unlimited Potential (UP!)  has achieved huge things including a ground breaking performance at the Royal Albert Hall in July and an international collaboration at a conference in London in June which was supported by the Mexican Embassy as part of Mexico/UK Dual Year 2015 programme.

Earlier this year saw Surrey Arts produce the Freedom Game Opera in celebration of the 800 year anniversary of Magna Carta.
