The Surrey Youth Choir (led by conductor Rufus Frowde) has had a busy few months, fitting in a tour to York Minster, a performance for the annual Service for the Judiciary in Guildford’s Holy Trinity Church and a recording session alongside their regular rehearsals since the end of August.

Surrey Arts is in the process of  planning a programme of training and CPD workshops for 2016-2017 for teachers and community singing leaders in various aspects of singing: classroom songs, help with choirs, building vocal confidence, guiding gifted singers, etc.

On Sunday 30 June a new project for young musicians known as the ‘Infinity Orchestra’ was launched with a one day workshop event featuring musicians from Surrey Arts and the BBC.
